I attended the live webinar review course in November 2023, took the first APEA predictor exam immediately after, and scored 69%. The predictor exam was extremely helpful for identifying and prioritizing my weak areas to study first. I found the live webinar course to be helpful for my classes as well as for board prep. Drs. Kathy Baldridge, Kyle Lavergne and Lindsey Luther's teaching style was very effective and took me beyond what I learned in my classes, yet was not overwhelming. I continued to study and complete Q-bank questions and full practice exams through my final class/rotation on April 9, 2024. I took a second APEA predictor exam in April 2024, scored 78%. I kept studying and practicing; my scores on the practice exams continued to increase to 80-85%. I took my board exam for the first time on April 22, 2024 and passed. The monthly Power Hour sessions are definitely a favorite of mine, and I hope I can continue to be a part of them even as a new NP. Don't wait until the last minute to prep. You have to put the time in....build your content knowledge (especially in the areas of weakness) and then practice applying your knowledge to board exam questions. I enjoyed the APEA community and resources; they were recommended to me by a preceptor and I highly recommend them as well. You can do this; and APEA can help you reach your goal.

I would just like to pass on that as a Chamberlain student I appreciated your review very much! I got 83% on my predictor exam continued to review my weak areas and with what I got out of the live intensive review and took my boards two weeks after graduation and passed!! I also highly recommend your live power hours!! I watched the last one on anticoagulants and when I hit that question on my boards about the length of time for anticoagulants for DVTs and we had just gone through that case scenario my confidence soared!!! Thank you 😊

I am so grateful to APEA!! I just passed my AANP exam!!!! The whole prep-program... the LiveStream was incredibly helpful! The faculty that taught the LiveStream was AMAZING!!! The HTN "Power-Hour" was also great, too. The other faculty that helped to answer some of my clinical questions this past week. Unfortunately, I was previously unsuccessful at passing my AANP exam the first time around. I took the Live Review Course and focused on studying content. I thought APEA did an excellent job on condensing pertinent content in their power point study guides. I wanted to give a special shout-out to Sarah Reed! She was responsive to my questions via email and got me answers fast! But what was most special about Sarah was her words of encouragement and she helped me to create a good study plan. Thanks to the whole APEA team!

I wanted to thank you for your NP certification prep program! Thanks to you I passed on my first try with a score of 637. I'm so thankful for your program!! It was an excellent review of everything I had learned over the past three years but didn't have easily accessible in my brain. My only regret is that I didn't need to use the Peyton Manning mnemonic device! :-). I'll never forget it though. Thanks again!

The Live Webinar Review Course was exactly as it stated it would be, the content was presented well by the facilitators. I especially love that as the facilitator was presenting there were others available to answer question on the Q & A board. Most importantly, being able to go back and review the material and listen again was a bonus after the material was delivered via email on day two. Lastly, I appreciate the multiple breaks after each review of the content. This review has helped me to assess the content of systems different, and I plan to apply what I have learned to my APEA predictor exam and FNP boards. Thanks, Sharon G.

I attended the Live Review Course in Memphis Tennessee January 5th and 6th. I took my certification board exam the following Thursday on the 11th for FNP and I PASSED! The review course was very informative and the instructors were very nice and answered all of my questions (as well as other students in the course.) The APEA course definitely prepared me to pass the AANP. I felt this live review course was very similar to how the test questions were on the national certification exam. I also purchased the practice book at the review course and I liked how it was broken up into sections so you could focus on weaker areas. A huge thank you to APEA!! =)
