I have taken many of Amelia’s courses. I initially took a live course prior to my AGNP boards in 2018; I am so glad that I did! I could hear Amelia’s voice throughout my boards. Guiding me. Helping me and ultimately calming my nerves b/c I was properly ready…..AND! I passed-first time around! What a glorious day it was! Since then, every year I take either a audio or pre-recorded review course. I primarily practice in cardiology but I want to “stay up-to-date” with my primary care curriculum, diagnosis’, and first line treatments to ultimately help me be an even better provider. We all know that patients tell you every problem they have no matter what specialty your in. I mean, those labs to identify a viral v.s. bacterial infection, which anemia a patient may have, how to identify if the patient has hepatitis antibodies versus an acute infection, treating particular pneumonias, and finally realizing systolic v.s. diastolic murmurs- Go Peyton Manning! Ha! He’s still my MVP! Truly, I will continue to support this review course!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and it helped me understand concepts and patient presentations in a way that made more sense to me. After completing the entire course I feel that Amelie's videos were very helpful, but the other NP's videos were not quite as helpful or engaging. I passed on my first try taking my boards and I owe a lot of that to APEA. Thanks!

I am really enjoying these videos. They are engaging, informative, and well executed to fit different learning styles. The real-life applications bring it all together perfectly.

I took the online review course, multiple predictor exams, and used the QBank to review for my certification exam. I passed on my first attempt! These tools were wonderful and I felt very prepared sitting for my exam!

I attended a live review class earlier this month in Memphis to assist me in reviewing for my FNP board exam. Amelie was amazing! She keeps you engaged and makes the review class pleasurable with her fun personality! She gives you the necessary tools to build on your knowledge and study strategies to help you be successful on your exam! I used these strategies after the class to study and happy to report yesterday I took my exam and passed! Thank you Amelie and her colleagues for helping me to be successful! Definitely highly recommend attending one of her review classes if preparing for boards!

This course has truly made me confident walking in to my certification exam and passing it! Dr. Amelie is a blessing and the way she teaches makes you feel so confident that you will never forget a concept. Her tips and recommendations helped me go through each question with ease. After completing my NP program my brain was on over load, I attempted to study using the recommended study program by my school. I found I easily got distracted and board, it was not engaging and I was not retaining the information. The severe blow came were I went for the exam and found I was sadly underprepared and FAILED. I was devastated felt like all my had work was washed away. As many do when they feel down I called a friend, she told me about APEA, and the journey and fire re began. Dr. Hollier has put together and innovated and well thought out program that breaks down your need to know areas, explains rationales for practice and makes them applicable to real life patients, some of them hers! I can say from a distance Amelie and Mimmie became my best friends, I would listen and re listen the test and re test. I walked into my exam of course with butterflies but no doubt I was passing. My only critique was that you could not rewind even like a 30 sec part if you missed because dog was bark of your mind drifted off. The Nurse Practitioner Intensive Review Course exceeded my expectations. Dr. Amelie and Dr. Mimi took complex topics and broke them down into easy to understand concepts. Things I struggled to understand became much clearer through the use of visuals and pneumonics. Attending the in-person review along with the online video review and Q-bank study questions helped prepare me for my National Certification Exam. I went into the test feeling confident and well-prepared. I passed the exam on my first try and I owe it all to APEA!

I have started to study and like the way that Dr. Hollier teaches. I am not very clear on the books that I have to order. I know I need a book with Questions and rationals. The guidelines and the antibiotic book. Hopefully, it will be all I need.

Thank you for all the informative information. I appreciate the selection of books, and the ability to talk with your staff. I learned a lot from your review course. Thank you for keeping us safe and not canceling the review course but most of all Thank you for all your energy during the course. It kept me on track.

The video review course is amazing! It not only assists you in passing boards the first time, it also gives a foundation with which to begin practice! I am so glad that I took the video review and feel more prepared as I move forward with my NP journey!!

This course was phenomenal. I truly enjoyed and learned so much in the 2 day review course that I took in September. As I took my boards, I could hear Dr. Hollier in my head with her various sayings and ways of remembering things. I felt that the majority of content that was on my exam was presented/discussed and reviewed in this course and as a result I felt I was truly well prepared and passed on my first attempt on December 18th! I loved this review course. Dr. Hollier kept it interesting and told stories which made the information applicable to real life. I bought the audio only review course for my year of clinicals. I listened to her during my drive to and from clinicals. Then the day after I finished school I went to her live review in Houston. Finally, I bought the Q bank. I believe I gained something from each of the different programs. I took ANCC and passed on the 1st try! I am now looking forward to going to some of her skills courses since I will be needing them in my new job!

I had a great time, learned and relearned topics that will help me not only pass the exam but to a competent provider!
