2020 Live Review Course and Clinical Update

The 2020 APEA Live Review Course and Clinical Update presents essential primary care education for FNP and AGNP certification candidates and practicing NPs in a format that is engaging, efficient, and effective. Whether you are preparing for certification or seeking contact hours, this event delivers a five-star learning experience with consistent presenters who are known nationwide for their clinical expertise, their ability to convey complex concepts, and their mastery of public speaking. 

The 2020 course program features the following:

  • 2 days of live lectures encompassing content covered on the AANP and ANCC exams for family practice and adult-gerontology primary care practice
  • For FNPs and FNP candidates, videotaped lectures on pregnancy, pediatrics and child growth and development; accessible after the course 
  • For AGNPs and AGNP primary care candidates, videotaped lectures on Healthy Aging, Pathology of Aging and Prescribing for Older Adults; accessible after the course
  •  For all attendees: videotaped lecture on Essential Office-Based Procedures, including topical and local anesthesia, incision and drainage, and more; accessible after the course
  • For all attendees: videotaped lecture on Entry-To-Practice Requirements including obtaining an NPI number, selecting malpractice insurance and more; accessible after the course
  • Printed spiral-bound course manual with room for notes; provided at check in
  • Continental breakfast each morning
  • Snacks each afternoon
Parking Information: All attendees should park in the Forbes Parking Garage located directly across the street from the Power Center. Attendees can access the Power Center by taking the elevator in the Forbes Parking Garage to the 8th floor and following the Skywalk across to the Power Center Ballroom. 

Parking rates are as follows: For those students that will be commuting and parking on-campus, the daily University rate is $12 in the Forbes parking garage. Those who park in the Forbes garage will receive a ticket. They will produce the ticket, along with payment, when they leave each day. Parking rates subject to change without notice.

ANIMAL POLICY

Live animals are prohibited at APEA review courses, with the exception of animals that serve a guide or service function as defined by Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA defines service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

Cancellation Policy

Course cancellations received 4 weeks prior to the course will receive a refund minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations received after the 4 week deadline will be charged $150. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations received the day of the course or for no shows.
