Ruth Foreman, DNP, FNP-BC, CRNP, CNE, is a family nurse practitioner who teaches the APEA Live Review Course & Clinical Update for FNPs and AGPCNPs. She is an assistant professor in the FNP and WHNP programs at Carlow University, where her teaching focus includes pharmacology, primary care, and scholarship. She practices clinically at Carlow Campus School, where she manages the pediatric clinic and precepts Carlow University NP students. She is a frequent invited presenter and has published more than a dozen articles covering topics including anxiety, thrombocythemia, pharmacogenomics, and the management of antidepressant withdrawal. Foreman also is active in state and national organizations, including the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, Eastern Nursing Research Society, and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
